A film with social message and distinct in approach in the career of art director cum director G Murthy (his 6th film) ‘Vaishnavi’ audio was released on Saturday evening at GM Rejoys by Dr Ambarish and Hamsalekha in the presence of team members.

The film ‘Vaishnavi’ has five musical scores from famous flute player Pravin Godkindi. The subject is the main force for me to take up music direction stated PG. I am from the Hamsalekha team. Making music he is always my source of inspiration he pointed. I have made only ‘Raga’ based songs – all are in classical style and one is a folk based he says.

Producer S Nagaraj, father of lead actor Yaana Raj has long experience in theatre. A civil engineer by profession Nagaraj acted in small roles in theatre team of ‘Rangachavadi’. His dream of becoming actor in 1976 is now fulfilled via his daughter in ‘Vaishnavi’. We have not made this film with commercial aspects. The human values and social concern is depicted in this film he says.

Director G Murthy says for taking up this film Ramachandra is mainly responsible. The Bootha of ‘Dharm’ is discussed with some shocking and surprising issues he says.

Actress in her debut film Yaana Raj says if a few in the society inculcate the contents depicted it would be fine. Yana Raj does social service in USA wanted the real episodes and she took some portions for social change. Wanted to become a director and now actor in front of people she mentioned.

Dr Ambarish after releasing the audio CD lauded the people from Mandya doing a good task. As a woman going to America and coming back with such a novel concept is great. The Sangapura in Mandya from where Nagaraj and his daughter come is a very nice place he mentioned.

Nada Brahma Hamsalekha wished the people of Karnataka and elsewhere would like this film and such a selective film would get good collection he hopes.

Srinagara Kitty present at audio release is in the role of a journalist in this film. It is a state of confused mind he says. Looking Srinagara Kitty, Hamsalekha stated that your grandfather has huge property. You do some quality films he advised.

Actor of high caliber Srinivasaprabhu, former AKKA President Amaranath Gowda and current AKKA President Raj Patil were present at audio release.

S Nagaraj parents Kamalamma and Lakshmi Nagaraj were honored by Dr Ambarish on this occasion. ‘Vaishnavi’ is a Canvas Films first venture in Kannada. Shashidhar Sangapura is co producer of this film.
